The People Behind Manufacturing Tech Australia
Two industry insiders. One mission: making technology approachable for Australian manufacturers.
Our Story
How MTA Was Born
After two seasons podcasting about platform software and startups, Shane Williams decided it was time to talk about something closer to the engine room of the Australian economy: manufacturing.
He called up Paul Mason — a mechatronics engineer with two decades in the field — and they hit record before they'd even met in person. Two episodes were captured in early 2023, and the chemistry was instant.
Fast-forward and Manufacturing Tech Australia has grown into one of the leading manufacturing technology podcasts in Australia and globally — reaching listeners in over 10 countries across 5 platforms. From automation and robotics to ERP, digital twins, and Industry 4.0, MTA cuts through the noise to deliver real, practical insights.
